Fostering Digital Health Innovations and Inclusive Digital Transformation for Sustainable Development in Tanzania

We are responsible for supporting and further developing the Tanzania HMIS and new complementary digital health tools, including its integration and interoperability with other systems in the health sector

Our trainers have designed different data and systems training modules and programs to suit various cadres in the health system levels. These trainings are conducted on-site and offsite during system deployment, support and use.

Our MSc/Ph.D. students and members conduct their research studies resulting in various academic outputs (Articles, Dissertations, manuscripts). Our innovations are also used to equip the students with practical skills in teaching the MSc health informatics program.

Information is the key to making evidence-based decisions. We embark on innovating different mechanisms to present data analysis in simple and easily understood informative dashboards using charts, maps and tables, scorecards, and bottleneck analysis techniques.
